What is this funding pot?
Why?
Looking after your mental and emotional health takes many forms. Some people like to talk, others like to socialise or exercise. Tapping into your creativity is also an excellent source of self-help. This is especially true if you are struggling with your diagnosis and need a positive focus.
Signing up to a creative class (whether online or in person), can also be a great way to socialise.
What?
This fund isn’t necessarily for traditional creative therapies. If you are able to source a licensed practitioner though, you can use the money towards that. Just mention this in your application form. Mostly though, this is a motivational self-care funding pot for arts materials and classes.
If you have formed your own support group, you can also apply for this pot to help fund an art class together.
Without Wings promotes this because we believe that if you’re struggling with pain, immobility or both, being creative can help you fall back in love with life.
Please remember to keep and submit all receipts for services we fund.
