About this funding pot

Why?

Autoimmune diagnoses can have many hidden expenses. For example, if your mobility is impaired, special kitchen equipment might be required to help you prep your veg. You might need bath aids, joint support bandages or equipment to help you pull on your shoes and socks.

This fund is also for you if you are struggling with mobility and need a chiropodist to help you look after your feet, or a hairdresser to wash your hair.

Noble’s occupational therapy department should be able to help with some of the above. Where they can only advise on the equipment you need to purchase, or if you need more thorough intervention, Without Wings are here to help.

Practical support funding pot

We provide funding towards the cost of your support (we can’t always cover the whole cost).

For example…

For chiropody you can apply for up to £25 every 6 weeks and make up to 6 claims per year.

For hair washing services, you can apply for up to £40 every 6 weeks and make up to 6 claims per year.

For physical rehabilitation aids, you can apply for up to £100 per year.
