We know that people are forever asking us if we know of any opportunities for them to meet others in a similar situation.

In this, the third in a series of group meet ups, we’ve teamed up with adapted dance and developmental movement specialist, Olwen Maurer, and poet and dancer, Owen Atkinson, (7th Manx Bard!), to bring you a safe space and gentle journey into movement, words and connection. There will also be plenty of time for a cup of tea and chat opportunity.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

🧘 ADAPTED MOVEMENT isn’t a fitness class, but rather a relaxing, feel-good session where you can be guided to move, express and reconnect in your own way. All movement will be chair based.

This awareness* raising event is for ANYONE affected by ANY long-term illness or mobility issue.

You’re also very welcome to bring along a friend or family member THOUGH PLEASE REMEMBER TO BOOK 🤗

Places are FREE though on the day donations are WELCOME. 

We also ask that if you later find you’re unable to attend please do return any tickets. These can then be recirculated.

*Without Wings is an IOM registered charity no 1213. Since 2016 we’ve supported people living in the Isle of Man affected by autoimmune joint-affecting conditions. In 2025 we expanded our constitution to cover all autoimmune conditions. Our goal is to help raise awareness of these conditions and their impact on day-to-day life, plus to provide useful information and compassionate grants for when you’re most ‘without wings,’ or your physical or emotional freedom 🕊️
